From one to many
When I founded Mob Happy, it was always my aim to support existing women agency founders, but also to help up and coming leaders.
When my agency Rubber Cheese first began, Paul and I effectively worked as freelancers under the RC brand for a good few years before we decided to build an agency. At the point we knew we wanted to grow, we didn’t really know how or where to find help. We didn’t know how to hire our first team member or if it was even the right time. Back then we didn’t have the great communities that exist now such as Freelance Heroes or Agency Collective or Mob Happy.
Over the past 7 months I’ve been lucky to build a really amazing network of agency owners, and I’m excited to be able to bring them together for a series of panel discussions.
Starting in July, Mob Happy will be running a series of events for freelancers, that are aspiring to be agency owners, titled From one to many.
Each discussion will have a different focus and a really exciting panel of speakers.
- Hiring your first employee
- To niche or not
- Winning bigger business
- Growing your team
The events will run in Cambridge and cost £10 to attend, but in the sprit of helping others 100% of the ticket fee will be donated to the #15YearsofRubberCheese charity fund, as we attempt to raise £15k for Tamba Bereavement Support Group.
The Tamba Bereavement Support Group (BSG) exists to support all parents and carers of multiples who have experienced loss whether it was during pregnancy, at birth or at any point afterwards. It is a charity extremely close to my heart. You can find out why we’re doing this here.
